When language means business

E-learning: Business English

If you wish to improve or perfect your written business language, an e-learning course could be just what you need. In this type of course, the training takes place primarily via email, which provides the participant with a high level of flexibility. The training begins with a phase of testing and needs analysis - just like any other of our courses - and then the course's assignments are created to meet the individual's requirements.

We provide a folder of materials for each participant, containing information and practice related to grammar, writing conventions (for emails, letters, reports and/or any other relevant documents) and written phrasing, as well as some written assignments.  The participant should complete assignments and return them to an individually assigned teacher on a weekly basis.  The teacher will comment on these assignments, which can then be corrected / improved and sent back.  If there are still mistakes the teacher will send a corrected final version.  The participant can also choose to send tasks in English from his/her daily work which will be treated in the same way.  The teacher will also refer to relevant pages in the folder to provide help related to specific areas of grammar, writing conventions and phrasing and the participant can also submit answers to these practices.

The lessons are calculated simply by the teacher keeping a note of how much time is spent on correspondence, and the participant will be kept up-to-date on where he/she is in the course.  10 lessons will allow for at least 20 assignments.

An e-learning course in business language can also offer access to our Interactive Grammar Course on the internet, which can be used to develop and test the points learned during the course.

"Please indicate anything which you feel could be improved: Nothing. Teaching Danish (because of the difficulty in speaking and understanding spoken Danish) must be extremely challenging and frustrating. Nonetheless, the teacher did a great job at motivating and encouraging us to learn."
