E-learning: Danish for Foreigners
This type of e-learning course will be useful for people who need to improve their written Danish, but do not have the flexibility required to attend a regular writing course.
We begin by evaluating your current level of written Danish as well as discussing your goals. For example, is it grammar which is causing the difficulties, or is it more general language usage? Typical grammatical issues may include endings on adjectives, adverbs, word order, prepositions and verb conjugation. Other language issues can range from the need to expand your vocabulary (words and/or expressions) to problems differentiating between spoken and written style.s.
You will regularly send written assignments and tasks to your assigned teacher (by email) who will return them with errors highlighted and explained. You will then correct these mistakes yourself and return the writing to your teacher for a final check. Any remaining errors will then be corrected by the teacher and you will be provided with more elaborate explanations. During the course, you and your teacher may decide that it would be beneficial to meet from time to time to allow for some face-to-face instruction.
